This is the pattern that I use for my favorite vanilla socks. It uses a 3/1 rib for the length of the sock and fits a shoe size 10 or European 41 but you can shorten it to fit your foot. It is written on one page only and I‘ve included an abbreviated, shorter version of the pattern so you can print it out and take it with you, it should be small enough to fit in your sock bag.
