My First Lace Scarf
From the designer Sally Melville:
I wish I could call this an ‘easy’ pattern, but lace -any lace- is considered by all knitting teachers and knitting books and knitting authorities to be ‘intermediate’. Having said that, because this is only a six-stitch and eight-row repeat, I think it is easier to mange than most. And in spite of that, I think it looks more complicated than it is. Isn’t that what we would wish from a first lace scarf?
Size: approximately 8” wide, 72” long
