This is a fairly easy pattern that alternates colours in order for the stitches to look like flowers.

As written, it is for an adult, but if you want it for a child, simply reduce the number of starting chain to fit the child’s head, ensuring you start with an odd number.

I used almost 1 full skein of the white, and maybe 1/4 of the green, and less of the other colour(s) for the flowers.
