Intro from the pattern
Every year my son has a silly hat day in school. Last year was our first and we were not prepared, so he wore an antler band instead. I remember the day being quite chilly last year so this year I wanted to be more prepared and plan ahead. Since watching Despicable Me, both me and him have not gotten over Minions. so I decided that it was a good idea to try to replicate our favourite character for favourite hat. So how about one for your little one. It will be great for halloween too. Hope you have as much fun crocheting this hat, as I did!

The latest update of the pattern includes sketches to get your imagination started on what other creature hats can be made with the same pattern. Just make a few adjustments and you have a completely different hat. Or if you like to stick to the basics, this pattern can be followed for a basic/ striped beanie or earflap hat
