Pay What Works: In an effort to find a balance between financial accessibility and sustainable pricing, all of my patterns are offered on a “Pay What Works” scale. This allows for financial flexibility while still valuing and respecting the work and energy it took to publish this pattern. The price shown on Ravelry is the “true” value of the pattern that best reflects the time, investment, and creativity of this design. If needed, you can purchase the pattern at a more accessible price point by using one of the coupon codes below at checkout. The prices indicate the amount you will pay, not the discount amount. No coupon code is needed for the highest price point.
PWW1 - $3.60
PWW2 - $4.20

Please note for those located in Europe that VAT is applied at checkout.
Hats come in as many shapes and sizes as those who wear them. This pattern is simple with lots of texture and easily adjustable repeats so you can adapt it to any yarn or needle size. My Way lets you knit a hat your way!
Yarn choice - I prefer to use a worsted superwash yarn with hats, which has a tendency to grow after washing, so I start with a tight hat. If you are using a more rustic yarn for your hat, you may need to go up a size with the cast on or your needle size. If in doubt, measure your swatch before and after washing it to see how it changes.
Sizing - This pattern is meant to have negative ease, but is very stretchy. My head circumference is 24” and I cast on for the M size. The small is best suited for children. If you wish to size down for a toddler or up for a looser slouchy hat, simply cast on in multiples of 6. Instructions are written for S (M, L).
This pattern has been professionally tech edited, but only test knit by me. While I’ve been through the pattern several times with my editor if you feel that you’ve found a mistake please feel free to email me at hello@just1morethingdesigns.com or message me here on Ravelry.
