Mysig in Kiruna
Mysig…. cosy (affording comfort and warmth) pleasant, comfortable, agreeable
(archaic) Descriptive of smiling from contentedness or comfort.
Mysig in Kiruna is a pattern for a knitted stocking for small gifts. It is worked in the round from the folded cuff down and using the stranded knitting technique.
You may use the long-tail or provisional cast-on to begin. The folded cuff is worked, then the main motif chart, the heel is turned with short rows, the foot is worked (continuing motif), and finally the star-shaped toe. Work the i-cord loop and your stocking is ready to hang!
