Mystic Square
Mystic Square is magical, mysterious modular top designed to be knit with Noro yarns. Using joinas-you-go techniques, you start by knitting a central square (I know it’s a rectangle do not email me about this,) and the sweater expands from there with no seaming! (the sides and shoulders are seamed do not email me about this.) Be wowed and amazed as your colorful top takes shape. Use #MysticSquareTop and tag me on Instagram @jamesnwatts
YARN
This pattern was designed with Noro yarn in mind. I highly recommend using Noro, or another yarn with a slow color change. My sample is in Noro “Kureopatora,” but there are many Noro yarns that would work well for this pattern. I recommend choosing something with more plant fibers for warmer weather, or more animal fibers for cooler weather. Sport weight, DK, or worsted weight yarns could all work in this pattern as long as you get gauge. You could also use scraps or solid colors. This is also a fantastic pattern for handspun yarn.
