The Mystical Mermaid Knit Shawl was named after the aquatic colors of yarn used in this project! It’s a really simple triangle shawl, and the intrigue is really in the striping pattern, which utilizes two solid colors and one variegated colorway. The example was knit up in a shawlette size, but you can absolutely tack on more repeats to make it a full-sized shawl!

Note that the pattern does curl slightly; if you’d like to minimize curling, especially as the shawl grows, be sure to add a few more stitches of garter stitch on either edge, and a few more rows of garter stitch on the final border at the end.
