Vertical lines and elegant cable placement are the highlights of this classic hoodie. A wide overlapping button band and cozy hood add to the comfort of this sweater. And, like many of Kristen TenDyke’s designs, it’s engaging to knit, without being overly complicated!

The body is worked in one piece to the armholes, working the waist shaping along the center ribbing and the bust shaping at the sides. The back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders. Remaining stitches are joined and the hood is worked. The top of the hood is shaped using short rows, extending the ribbed columns up over the top of the head.

A woven cable pattern graces the center back and the top of each sleeve cap.
