Najin, is one of the last two living northern white rhino species. She was born in captivity in 1989 in ZOO in Czech Republic and now lives OlPejeta Conservancy in Africa.

I have picked her as our fall toy mystery KAL. The mystery part is over, but you can still knit your own northern white rhino.

Finished toy: approximately 11” (29 cm) long from tail to head.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn in light or grey color.
About 170 – 180 yards / 156 – 165 meters.
About 5 yards / 4.5 meters black

Recommended Needle Size: DPN US#5/3.75 mm (set of 5). Or use your preferred needles for knitting in the round.

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker, polyester fiberfill (1 small bag), small amount of black yarn for embroidery.
