The pattern has instructions for both toe up and cuff down socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.
Sizes
S (56 sts), M (64 sts), L (72 sts)
Yarn
100 g of fingering weight sock yarn, app. 420 m (440 yds) per 100g, in two colours, 100 g of MC and 10 (10, 15 g) of CC.
The sample socks were knitted with Chester Wool Company BFL 4ply in colourway Pink Shell (MC), 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g and madelinetosh Twist Light in colourway Coquette Deux (CC), 384 m/ 420 yds per 100 g.
Needles & notions
2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle(80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or to meet the gauge
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
36 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking.
