Nancy Drew
I enjoyed reading Nancy Drew mysteries when I was a kid. Nancy Drew was not only a plucky and talented detective, she also sported some smart outfits. I’ve tried to pay homage to her style in this piece with the crewneck and ribbing/openwork detail. I’ve also employed a modified saddle shoulder, drop sleeves, and a relaxed fit with plenty of ease, so this seamed sweater looks great on all kinds of body types and shapes and sizes. Those of you familiar with the old book covers may remember The Secret of the Old Clock, which was the inspiration for the main picture here.
