Nanna
The sweater poncho has large width, like a poncho, but has sleeves as a sweater.
It gives great freedom of movement, but at the same time it will fit well.
It is knitted in a simple lace pattern, with garter stitch at the lower edge and at the square neckline.
The sleeves are knitted in rib.
For the model at the picture is used 550 g Istex Kambgarn, but other suggestions could be:
Blackhill Linwool
Blackhill Highland wool + following thread.
Further supplies:
Circular needles 3,5 and 4 mm.
Double pointed needles 3.5 mm for sleeves.
Tension:
20 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm (Lace at needle 4 mm).
Finished measurements:
Circumference: 180 cm
Full length: 60 cm
The model is one size, but you can easily add/remove stitches in the circumference, if the number of sts is divisible by 18, just as the height until the armhole can be varied.
