Neater Than a Shawl
Materials.
SIX ounces of superfine 3-ply baby wool, non-shrink. A pair of No 11 knitting needles. 1½ yards of white satin robbin, 2in wide. 1 skein each of embroidery cotton in pink, blue and gold.
Measurements.
LENGTH from top of head, 26in.
Width around lower edge, 45in.
Tension.
KNIT at a tension to produce eight stitches and nine rows to one inch, measured over the lace pattern.
