This cowl is the “fun size” version of my Necco Capelet. It fits more snugly around the neck, and uses similar increases to create a graceful drape.

Colorful dots and lines call to mind Necco’s candy button strips, a favorite of my childhood. This design brings out the best in a high-contrast skein of hand-dyed yarn.

Necco is worked in the round. Turned hems feature the contrast color on the inside lining.

MC: 200 - 220 yards
CC: 75 - 85 yards

Worked primarily on the larger needle; the smaller needle is used only for the hem facings.
