SIZE: M(L) (72/84) sts), fits a foot or leg of 8.75“/10” (22.5/25.5 cm).
MATERIALS
YARNS: 75-105 g Zwerger Opal (wool 75%, nylon 25%; 425 m/100 g):
Main Colour (MC) 50-70 g
Contrast Colour (CC) 25-35 g
NEEDLES: US 1 (2.25 mm) and US 2 (2.5 mm)
NOTIONS: 2 markers, cable needle.
GAUGE
32 sts/42 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
34 sts/52 rounds = 4”/10 cm in pattern stitch.
CHARTS:
These charts are worked using slipped stitches. Unlike Fair Isle, there are no colour changes during the round, no threads floating at the back of the work – or at the inside of the sock. Each round is worked completely in one colour. The colour changes are created by slipping the stitches.
In the charts below, odd-numbered rounds are worked with CC only, even-numbered rounds worked with MC only.
