I have always wanted to live in Vermont. When I was a little girl, my mother, sister, and I would visit friends on a dairy farm every year. We would dream of moving to Vermont and getting away from the crowds in New York, but we were never able to. Then life happened and I moved to Tennessee, California, and Colorado.

Two years ago, when I turned 50, I finally got my dream home—a 150 year-old farm house in “the middle of nowhere,” Vermont. These colors are an exact match for what I see out of my studio window every year in late September and early October.
