Neopolitan Swirl Mittens

For those interested in the technique of Yarn Pooling, this is a perfect beginner pattern.
These mittens are created with the technique of Planned Yarn Pooling (or Color Pooling) using variegated yarn. This is a great beginner project for this technique in that the pattern takes care of itself as long as the correct gauge and listed yarn is used.
Super simple construction -- as simple as a mitten can get. It’s basically worked as a tube to keep the stitch count exact throughout, while a thumb opening is worked in scrap yarn to be taken out after the body of the mitten is worked, leaving live stitches to work the thumb.
