This hat is knit from the bottom up. Both earflaps are worked first, then the final head circumference is cast on between the earflaps to work the hat in the round. More slouch can be added to the crown by adding more rounds before starting the crown shaping. A double strand of Apu (CC) is used to achieve the same gauge as Eco Puna Black (MC)
