“I had fun playing around with flecks of colour on a natural background when designing this cardigan,” explains Mary Henderson. “The raglan sleeves keep the colour changes lined up, and the bright front bands, cuffs and hems were inspired by woven braid bands seen on Nordic sweaters. This project has quite a bit of comfort knitting in the body and sleeves (the kind I refer to as box-set knitting!). The fit is slightly loose to allow plenty of scope for layering.”
