It’s a hat with the Loch Ness Monster on it. Need we say more?

Well OK - knitted in JC Rennie Miniballs you need 5x10g in five colours, there’s plenty of leftovers. If you’re using another yarn then any 4 ply/fingering yarn with about 50m of each colour. I’ve added an eye in a scrap of black but you can use Loch colour instead, and a wee red tam on one Nessie which is optional. The red tam is embroidered on afterwards.

The colourwork is charted, all other instructions are written.

It’s adult sized but should be easy to resize for a child, I’ll add details when I get a chance to make a smaller version.

Designed to celebrate the lovely Loch Ness Knit Fest 2017.
