Finished cowl measures approximately 17 (19, 22)“ in circumference and 7 (8.5, 9.5)” tall
Yarn 
Chunky weight yarn: 80 (110, 140) yards 
Worsted/Aran weight yarn: 120 (140, 180) yards 
DK weight yarn: 160 (220, 260) yards
Samples shown in Ginger’s Hand Dyed Super Sheep Aran in Toffee Apple and Ginger’s Hand Dyes Masham Mayhem DK in Crunchy Leaves.
Gauges 
Chunky: 14 sts & 28 rounds / 4” in garter stitch using larger needles 
Worsted/Aran: 17 sts & 32 rounds / 4” in garter stitch using larger needles 
DK: 20 sts & 40 rounds / 4” in garter stitch using larger needles
Needles
Chunky: US #7 / 4.5mm and US #10 1/2 / 6.5mm 
Worsted/Aran: US #6 / 4mm and US #8 / 5mm 
DK: US #4 / 3.5mm and US #6 / 4mm 
(or as required to achieve gauge).
You will need a 16” long circular in each size; for adult size you could alternatively use a 20” long circular.
