Nestlow Cowl
Worked in the round, Nestlow Cowl begins and ends with 2x2 ribbing with twisted stitches. The body of the cowl has alternating panels of stockinette stitch and a 24 stitch lace panel with twisted stitches.
The pattern has been test knit and professionally tech edited.
Yarn: 230 yards (210 m) DK weight yarn. Shown in Sweet Fiber Merino Twist DK (100% superwash merino, 260 yards (238 m)/115 g), Moonstone.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm), 24 inch circular needles, or size needed to achieve gauge.
Gauge: 19 stitches and 30 rounds/4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch after blocking.
Notions: Six stitch markers, yarn needle.
Finished Size: 30” (76 cm) circumference, 9” (23 cm) deep.
Necessary Skills: Basic knitting skills, knitting in the round, k2tog, ssk, yarn over. All special stitches are explained in the pattern.
