This pattern is a 5 chain net triangle with a deep, loose edging that can be beaded for extra sparkle. This is perfect for an “evening out” shawl that decorates a lovely dress. It is blocked with a curved neck edge for better drape. Requires only 2 skeins of Hampton, but any dk yarn in your favorite fiber will work just as well. Gauge is not critical except for determining yarn usage. Your stitches should be just a bit loose, to provide a nice drape especially in the edging. As an option, try the body of the shawl in one color and the edging in another. Square or hexagon beads instead of seed beads will add a firey accent to the edge.
