This decorative pillow cushion is another design in my Buffalo Love Pillow Collection. New York State is one of the oldest states in the union and one of the most well-known because of NYC, the mountains in upstate and the proximity to Canada. The great part of this pillow is no matter where you live in the state, the heart can be moved. It currently sits over Western NY because it accompanies the Buffalo Love Pillow but is easily moved elsewhere in the state.

Materials
Yarn: Worsted Weight in three colors
I used Red Heart Soft in the following:

• Background color 8.6 oz (Navy)
• State 1.2 oz (White)
• Heart .2 oz (Red)

Hook:

• G/4.0 MM or hook needed to obtain gauge

Notions:

• Scissors
• Tape measure
• A needle for sewing
• Stitch markers
• 4 1.5” buttons.
• One 14”x 14” pillow insert

Sizing
These measurements are approximated, and actual subjects may vary.
Gauge: 12 stitches x 13 rows = 3”x 3 ”
Finished size: 15”x 15”
