………………………………………
This log cabin blanket is worked continuously from the center outward using four colors of worsted weight wool. There are no seams - nothing to sew. Instructions are given for two sizes, a smaller throw or a larger blanket. The pattern is named Next in Line because the contrast color of each log is the main color of the next log.

Needles
US #7/4.5mm 24-inch or 32-inch circular needle OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
The piece is worked back and forth in rows, using a long circular needle to accommodate the large number of sts. You may wish to use interchangeable needle tips and successively longer cords as the piece grows.
Notions
Tapestry needle, locking stitch markers (optional)
Gauge: 18 sts/36 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking
Note: If your gauge differs from the pattern gauge, the dimensions of your finished piece may be different as well. If you knit at a looser gauge, you may need more yarn.
