ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Niki Sweater is worked from the bottom up in Basket Weave Stitch on circular needles. First work the body in the round, then
the front, the shoulders, then the back, then sew the shoulders. Pick up stitches along the armhole edge and work the sleeves in the
round. Rib edges are worked along the body, the neckline and the wrists.

Measure your own chest circumference to determine which size will fit you the best.
MEASUREMENTS
The Niki Sweater is designed to have 22 to 45 cm of positive ease measured under armpit. Meaning the fit should be 22 to 54
cm larger in circumference than your actual bust measurements depending of the size.
Positive ease per size: approx (S: 24 cm) M: 30 cm (L: 34 cm) XL: 38 cm (2XL: 42 cm) 3XL: 46 cm (4XL: 50 cm) 5XL: 54 cm
The measurements are indicated on the diagram on page 8.

Approx. (800) 900 (1000) 1100 (1200) 1300 (1400) 1500 g of Alpachino Merino from Wool and The Gang 60% Merino 40% Baby
Alpaca, 100 g = 100 m
Color: Lilac Punch
Other suggested yarns: Andes from Drops, Woohoo from Lana Grossa & Knitknit Berlin, Spicy beaver from Magpiefibers.
Circular needles 5 mm 80 & 100 cm
Circular needles 6 mm 80 & 100 cm
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Gauge on the yarn label: 13 sts x 17 rows =10 x 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, on needlesize 6,5 mm
Gauge before blocking: 13 sts x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Basket Weave Stitch, on needlesize 6 mm.
Gauge after blocking: 12 sts x 15.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm in Basket Weave Stitch, on needlesize 6 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on
10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
