Ningaloo is worked from the top down. Beginning with the back, worked back and forth on a circular needle to the armholes. Next, the two front pieces are knitted separately with a V-neck shaping down to the armholes, after which the three pieces are joined and worked back and forth until all V-neck increases have been completed.
The front is then joined, and the rest of the garment is worked in the round down to the waist, where a narrow double-knitted band with stripes is made. Once the band is finished, the frill is knitted using one strand of Tilia. The same applies to the frilled sleeves, which are knitted back an forth on a circular needle with short-row shaping.
Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckline, which is worked in the round in double knitting with stripes
