Uses (US) 9 (5.5mm) needles for worsted weight, the original pattern, (US) 8 (5.0mm) for cotton ease yarn, and (US) 8 (5.0mm) for the borders with (US) 10 (6.0mm) needles for the double stranded DK/Sportweight yarn to knit up the blanket. Or the size needles that make the drape you’re wanting for your blanket.
