Inspired by bib necklaces from the late sixties, this expansive crochet necklace is dotted with hippie-chic beads.

Finished Size 51⁄2” wide across pendant and 14” long.

Yarn Classic Elite Yarns Soft Linen (35% linen, 35% wool, 30% baby alpaca; 137 yd 125 m/1¾ oz 50 g; ): # 2275 linen, 1 ball.

Hook Size D/3 (3.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions 2” metal ring; forty .5 mm multicolored wood beads; large-eye sewing needle.

Gauge 9 dc in Row 4 = 1”; 6 dc in Row 6 = 1”; Rows 2–6 = 11⁄2”.

Note: Beads were purchased at Michaels Craft store and are approx 1/4” wide. They came on a strand that was hanging on a wall, but they also have wood some in a small package.
