Materials:
6 skeins white threefold Saxony
2 skeins colored Saxony
2 No. 1 ivory knitting-needles (Old US bone needles)
4 No. 10 steel knitting-needles (Old US steel needles)
The sweater may also be knitted as a cardigan (“open sweater”) with buttons and a crocheted edging.
Additional materials for Open Sweater:
2 25-yard spools crochet silk
No. 8 steel crochet-hook (edging and buttons)
5 button moulds
