I have been crocheting flowers, and during my search for a daisy pattern I was disappointed to find only the cartoon-like variety or more realistic interpretations that required sewing. I don’t like to sew things after knitting or crocheting them — I think part of the beauty of these crafts is the ability to form a three dimensional piece without having to sew.
