Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the partridge and pear are knitted in acrylic aran weight yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Stylecraft Special Aran (medium/worsted weight) 100% acrylic; 25g in each shade. For the partridge’s fluffy white breast, King Cole Cuddles Chunky 100% polyester faux fur yarn; 25g in White.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and toy safety eyes.

SIZES
One size only - The partridge is 15cm long and the pear 6.5cm tall (not including the stalk).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
