The pattern has instructions for both cuff down and toe up socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Schachenmayr Regia Premium Silk 4-ply (55% Merino, 25% Nylon, 20% Silk).

2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge markers
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
