Gauge: 28 sts x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch
22 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in honeycomb brioche

Needles: 3 mm circular needles, 40 cm cable or longer
Crochet hook: 2.5 mm

About the pattern: 
Nomad Slippers are indoor slippers in honeycomb brioche, with a wrap detail at the front. First you work the sole in the round, so that it’s double and more sturdy. Then you work the top part of the slipper separately. First you make the double knitted heel flap, and then you pick up and knit sts along either side of it to work the wrap parts in honeycomb brioche. Then you pick up and knit sts along the top of the top part to make an i-cord edge.

After that you sew the wrap parts in place before you pick up and knit sts along the bottom of the top part to make another i-cord edge. Lastly you crochet an edge along the outer part of the sole, as well as the bottom of the top part, and then you crochet the top part onto the sole.

Beskrivning: 
Nomad Slippers är en innesko som görs i nätpatent med en omlottdetalj framtill. Sulan stickas runt, vilket gör att den blir dubbel och rejält stadig. Därefter görs den övre delen av skon separat. Först görs den dubbelstickade hällappen, och utifrån den plockas det upp maskor längs respektive sida för att sticka ovandelen i nätpatent.

Längs ovankanten av ovandelen plockar du sedan upp maskor för att göra en i-cord, innan du lägger framkanterna omlott för att sy dem på plats. Även längs nederkanten av ovandelen plockas det upp maskor för att göra en i-cord. Avslutningsvis virkas en kant längs den yttre delen av sulan, samt längs nederkanten av i-corden på ovandelen, och därefter virkas de två delarna samman.
