We all love the handpainted roving, but what can you do with the yarn you spin from just 4 ounces?

Presenting the first in my series of patterns for handspinners (or knitters who want to use up that stash!). Written for one size, but multiple gauges. Spin your yarn, measure the wraps per inch, and start knitting!

Gauge 1: 6 sts/ 8 rows per inch – 12-13 wraps per inch (WPI)

Gauge 2: 5 sts/ 7 rows per inch -- 9-11 wraps per inch (WPI)

Gauge 3: 4 sts/ 6 rows per inch -- 6-7 WPI

This cute little baby sweater is knit side to side, from the right sleeve cuff to the left sleeve cuff, to fit infant age 3-6 months (20 inch chest)

Estimated yardage for gauge 1- 375 yds
For gauge 2- 300 yds
