Nooma shawl
Nooma, means wind or spirit.
Well, this lightweight shawl certainly has a lot of spirit, from the colors shown here to the intriguing middle lace in the bigger middle section.
It’s super lightweight which makes it the perfect summer shawl~
As shown, the shawl is knitted with just a single Lightly skein. We do love single skein projects, don’t we?
The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart for your knitting pleasure.
The blocked size: 72” in total length and 17” in middle height.
Yarn used
A single skein of Lightly. 238 yards with 7 changes in colors, textures, even weights.
Fibers range from cotton, linen, rayon and combinations of them in fingering and lace weights.

Notions used
US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular needle 36”
(91 cm) in length.
Darning needle for finishing.
Gauge. 8 sts and 8 rows in 2” of Stockinette stitch.
Techniques applied
Knit and purl flat, lace knitting, increasing, decreasing, binding off, weaving in ends and blocking.
