In Germany, so-called “Nordlichter“, or Northern Lights, not only refer to polar lights but at the same time stand for people living in Northern Germany – this charming, yet rather plain landscape situated at the Baltic Sea, the North Sea or one of the many islands, some of which close to the Danish border.

We are said to prefer straight forwardness, and that is exactly what the “NordlichterShawl” is like – using the colours of the North and plain structures without any fuss.
