North Hollow Cowl
Of all the places I’ve lived, the one I miss the most is the North Hollow of Rochester, Vermont. Winters were cold and sharp and filled with snow. A thick, textured cowl kept me snug indoors and out. This beautifully reversible basketweave rib looks dramatic in a large gauge, and the cowl knits up in just one sitting.
Finished size approximately 24 inches (61 cm) in circumference and 9 inches (23 cm) tall.
Pattern includes both chart and line by line instructions.
This cowl is easy enough for a beginner who knows how to cast on, bind off, and work knit and purl stitches in the round. It makes a great last-minute gift with just one skein of a luxury super bulky yarn.
A note to buyers in the EU: I am sorry that this pattern is not available in the EU due to VAT issues.
