Northern Flannel
The slip stitch pattern of these cozy socks reminded me of warm flannel in winter. The fabric of these socks is very thick and squishy! They are like a typical dk weight boot sock, and are very warm. Excellent for hiking, fishing, skiing, or any outdoor activity you like!
I have included instructions for both toe-up and top-down socks, making it easy for you to use your preferred method of knitting. There are also written and chart instructions.
There are three sizes to choose from. Keep in mind that the slip stitch pattern does have a fair amount of stretch, so try on your socks as you go to optimize fit.
Choose two yarns with a strong contrast. This pattern works for even the wildest skeins out there.
Northern Flannel has a sister pattern, Arctic Flannel, a DK weight version. If you purchase both patterns the second is only $1.
