I designed this hat for my final project for the TGKA Master Hand Knitter Certification. I love colorwork, and the intricate color shifts in the Fair Isle styles are fascinating and fun to work with. Since I wanted a complementary color scheme, with colors slightly off the original blues and yellows, I used a color wheel to help with my decisions.

The gauge is different for each size:

Size S: 29 sts & 33 rnds = 4”/10cm. Size 2 needle
Size M: 28 sts & 31 rnds =4”/10cm. Size 3 needle
Size L: 27 sts & 30 rnds = 4”/10cm. Size 4 needle.
