Northern Lights
One of my bucket list items is to see the Aurora Borealis live. So when I saw the color Aurora from Polka Dot Sheep, I knew I had to create something using that color!
This half-circle shawl looks far more complicated than it actually is. The main body of the shawl is actually done in all double crochets – it’s the color changes (that you don’t have to cut or carry) that give it interest! The shawl ends with a lacy edging just ready to finish off the last of the two colors.
Choose a variegated and a solid in any combination to make this shawl your own. And be sure to share your combination with me!
The colors used in the sample are:
-
Aurora
-
Cornflower
