It has been my dream to see the northern lights, to watch the colors of light dance in the sky and feel the infinite grandeur of our universe. I have visions of being surrounded by the awe inspiring aurora borealis to be mesmerized by the hues of purple, pinks and gold against the dark sky.

The Northern Lights Wrap plays with the notion of color with a fun slip stitch motif that creates the rays emanating from a triangle to form a rectangular wrap.

Notes:
This wrap begins as a triangle. Then, once the width is achieved, the stitch count remains the same.
Once the final length is achieved, each corner is squared off to create a proper rectangle.

1 skein of Artyarns Merino Cloud, shown in Northern Lights colorway, &
1 skein of Artyarns SIlk Day Dream (can be substituted for merino cloud), shown in color 378.

C’est mon rêve de voir les aurores boréales, de voir les lumières de toutes couleur danser dans le ciel et de sentir l’immensité de notre univers. J’ai des visions d’être entourée de cet émerveillement et d’être hypnotisée par les nuances de mauve, de rose et doré contre le fond du ciel foncé.

Cette étole commence comme un triangle. Une fois la largeur désirée établie, le nombre de mailles reste toujours le même.
Une fois que la longueur est tricotée, on équarrit chaque coin pour faire un rectangle.
