This pattern is available individually or as part of the International Boomerangs collection .
Erratum - stitch 26 on rows 1 and 2 should be blue on chart.
This stitch reminds me of my father’s climbing sweater (see photo #2)
It’s made using slipped stitches (only one yarn per row) so it’s very relaxing to work, but looks very effective. BE SURE YOU ARE SLIPPING YOUR STITCHES CORRECTLY - CHECK IF IT LOOKS LIKE THE PATTERN PHOTOS. **
The boomerang shape is easy to knit and to wear.
The pattern includes instructions for an easy to work 2-colour bind off (working only with one yarn) or you can use 2-colour I-cord if you prefer.
Use yarn in the weight of your choice (fingering to aran) - allow at least 200m (220 yds) of each yarn.
For a more complex effect without any extra knitting effort, choose one or two self-striping yarns.
Added bonus: it’s reversible !
