Nostalgie
The Nostalgie Shawl is a hybrid shawl/scarf; or shawlette if you prefer. Its narrow depth and extra length gives it the versatility to be used as either a scarf, folded around the neck multiple times, or loosely draped around the shoulders.
Nostalgie has a knitted and crocheted version and both patterns are available in my Ravelry store.
The crochet version uses a 4.50mm hook and the pattern is suitable for advanced/confident beginners.
The knitted version is made on 4.50mm circular knitting needles. You’ll need at least a 100cm cable for the border section. The pattern can be made by confident beginners and could be a great way to learn how to pick up stitches from a knitted edge. The border is done in a lace stitch and finished off with a picot edge. The picot edge has been simplified to make it easier to do.
