Nostos takes its name from the Ancient Greek idea of returning home from a journey while carrying its memories with you. Designed beside the Aegean Sea, this shawl grew slowly through quiet summer days and relaxing hours of crochet. Whether it reminds you of a favorite destination, a cherished memory, or simply a moment of peace, Nostos is meant to be a shawl you’ll reach for whenever you wish to revisit that feeling.

The relaxing two-row fan-tail stitch repeat is easy to memorize, making it an enjoyable project for quiet evenings, long travels, or peaceful moments by the water. Worked from the tip upwards with increases along both sides, Nostos gradually unfolds into a generously sized triangular shawl with beautiful drape. The size is fully adjustable, allowing you to keep crocheting until you reach your desired dimensions or use up your yarn.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions and is suitable for beginners.
