A chef’s apron done that’s designed with an I-cord drawstring that is adjustable for comfort around the neck and waist. Drawstring is long enough to be tied in back or wrapped around to be tied in front. Waist has a very wide interrupted rib that is attractive and improves fit.

Apron is worked from the top down, allowing you to choose the finished length. Approximate size will be 29” wide and 34” tall before washing and drying. One size fits most.

Sample is knitted in Dishie Crème Brulee (from Knit Picks), but apron could be knit up in any machine washable worsted weight yarn. I’ve found that using acrylic worsted weight gives you a bigger gauge, which would be perfect for someone who wants a larger size apron.
