Jacket is worked entirely in garter stitch. A 29”-circular needle is specified to accommodate the large number of stitches, but the piece is worked back and forth. The body is knit in one piece from the bottom up, then divided for back and front. Sleeves are knit separately and sewn in. The collar is added last by picking up stitches at the neck. Optional fasteners may be added.

Pattern calls for 5 (6, 8, 9) balls of the specified yarn. Model used color #0005 Driftwood. Measurements are:
Bust: 36 (40, 44, 48)“
Length: 20 (22, 24, 26)”
Upper Arm: 14 (16, 18, 20)“

Stitch holders, stitch markers, and yarn needle also required.
