A cozy shrug worked in reverse stockinette to make the back cable detail pop! I love how the cable pops along the spine, adding a great detail to an otherwise simple piece.
Don’t add the final seam and you’ll have a nice shawl…
Construction: Shrug is knit top down in a triangle shawl shape. After the body is bound off, the sides are sewn to the back point to create sleeve openings.
Size: 1 (2, 3, 4) – fits XS-S (S-M, L-XL, XL-XXL) Shown in size 2 on a size S model
Approximate opening circumference: 60 (64, 68, 72)”/152.5 (162.5, 172.5, 182.5)cm + 3”/7.5cm cable

Yarn: 5 (5, 6, 7) skeins Cascade Yarns 220 (220yds/200m, 3.5oz/100g, 100% peruvian wool) #8555 Black
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm) 32”/80cm or desired length circular needle, or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette
