Gauge
18 sts x 51 rows to 4” /10 cm in Rose Stitch on larger needle, after blocking
(Note: Rose Stitch can be a little tricky for checking row gauge; use the CC rows every third row as your guide.)

17 sts x 56 rows/rounds to 4” /10 cm in single-color brioche in hem and edgings on smaller needle, after blocking
(Note: when counting rows in brioche, remember that two rows of action in brioche creates one row of fabric. Therefore, each visible V in your fabric represents two rows worked and should be counted as such.)

Notes
Vest is knit flat in pieces to the yoke, then joined by cast ons at the shoulders and worked flat with raglan shaping. Neck edging is picked up and knit in the round, and armhole edgings are picked up and knit flat.
